for V-Day, I made the kids these bead basket valentines & stuffed them with little envelopes of stickers. I used this as a template, but used different beads...

winter light
things have been busy in the way of work and recovering from the colds and illnesses that must happen when you work at a school. i did manage a walk in the woods and found so many little arrangements.
*one of our kids likes to call these goddess eyes...
some of the things us teachers & our kids have been up to at school... going skiing together (!!!), making various kinds of scarabs for our study of Ancient Egypt, crafting goddess eyes* hanging out in our pajamas & eating pancakes on a rained-out ski day, the little ones made us a fire in the fireplace, and enjoying the afternoon light in our room.
